During Milan Fashion Week, the WSM Fashion Reboot took place, White’s event dedicated to sustainability, with a phygital format – 70% digital and 30% physical – and a rich calendar of workshops and talks.

There were more than 50 collections, men and gender fluid, characterized by a green DNA. Companies and brands that represented the new frontier of contemporary craftsmanship where new production techniques and handmade are mixed, without neglecting the aspect of sustainability. A dynamic format that with “Sustainable Evolution”, in collaboration with Camera della Moda, has concretely described a new generation of creatives. Some names are: Froy, Family Lexicon, Mishimi, Oh Carla, Gin Salemo ‘, Bayria Eyewear, Kidsofbrokenfuture, Marcello Pipitone, Simon Cracker and Zerobarracento.

This year WSM has also chosen some key destinations within the city, multi-brand stores that showed “the beauty and the good” of the younger generations. Just to name a few: Biffi Boutique presented Peppino Peppino (sustainable denim brand), Daad Dantone with the vegan and cruelty free bags by Roberto di Stefano (the first in Italy to use the material obtained from the Desserto cactus for an entire line of accessories) Civico Nove presented the new Ecoalf collection. And then Tenhoa who talked about F / CE, a Japanese brand of apparel and accessories, which combines travel and culture with sustainable and functional fashion.

There were workshops for non-experts to give people the opportunity to become more responsible towards fashion: we all have, in our wardrobe, garments that perhaps over time have begun to excite us a little less, but which could become extremely contemporary thanks to upcycling interventions. The WSM Fashion Reboot also dealt with that, with workshops on sustainable business and circular fashion.
